She TOO is History

Join me in Celebrating Women’s Equality Day on Sunday, August 26th at Theatre West!

I’ve been working for the past few months with actress/playwright Amy Simon as we sculpt a full cast version of her script on the women who make and made American history. This work-in-progress reading of She Is History highlights some of the women who fought for our right to vote and who continue the fight towards Equal Rights for all American citizens. Read more about the August 26th Production.

Proceeds from this event will go to Theatre West, an internationally acclaimed non-profit arts organization and the oldest continually running theatre company in Los Angeles, established in 1962.

Women’s Equality Day commemorates the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which prohibits the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens of the United States on the basis of sex.

Tickets can be found on Brown Paper Tickets. Find out more about She Is History and Amy Simon at sheshistory.com.
